I'm a self-taught designer/developer with 20+ years of experience. I've launched and sold several small startups. I currently work as a Creative Technologist in Sydney, Australia.
Why the accidental developer?
I never intended on becoming a "programmer". My passion has always been just building products. The frustration of not being able to conceptualise, design and build an idea from start to finish led me to teach myself to write code. 20 years on and that "do it yourself" attitude has made me into an experienced senior web and application developer. Funny how things work out.
I still see writing code as a means to an end. My focus is now - as it has always been - on building products that solve problems in the most elegant way possible.
